Default 1 3/16" Nut on Clutch

To remove the clutch pack as an assembly you have to use a 1 3/16" socket to remove the LH threaded, shoulder type nut. The manual does not mention how it goes back on: with the nut against the clutch hub - or the shoulder against the clutch hub. I took it apart, and I should know how it came off, but I cannot remember! Oops!

Can anyone help me out here?
