Then you are correct in eliminating the battery as the problem.
I would now check to see that the starter is getting full voltage during cranking.
Positive lead to the battery, negative lead to the starter (not the solenoid), this will give you the voltage drop on the positive side across the cables and the solenoid.
For the negative side probe the negative terminal of the battery with the negative lead, and the starter case with the positive and watch for a reading while cranking.
Any reading over ~.5 volts in the above tests is not good. If both of these pass that leaves the starter or starter drive as the culprit.

Starter arrived today! Installed it and all is good.. It spins so much faster now so i guess the old motor was just worn smooth out. I noticed that the neutral light is now intermitting though. I know thats prolly easy to trouble shoot but i didn't have time to jack with it today. Any idea's are welcome on that issue. Don't know if its something that i messed up while working on the starter or not. Thanks again for all the help!
