07 RK compensator shot?
28000 miles, all stock except for IDS. Started clattering like hell couple days ago. Pulled the primary and made up a locking tool. Just checked and the comp bolt wasn't anywhere near 165 ft-lbs, probably more like 50. But it still takes very little to bottom it, like a little pressure with one hand 4-5" out on a breaker, that can't be right can it? There should be a torque spec that can be used to check the washers to see if they are shot by how much torque it takes to bottom it. I already ordered a SE comp. but want to wait to get it before I go further. Put on 9700 mi in August, glad it waited til I got back. Great forum, only have a couple posts but have spent many many hours reading. Thanks for any feedback.

Mine went out at 34,000 miles. It was wore out. Bottomed out when cranking sometimes.
I have put about 800 miles on the bike since the change and it has been all good. I am leaving for a 2,000 mile trip this after noon. So i get to check on all the changes I have made.
