ULTIMA 6 speed trans failure........
#41
I'm on my second unit. The first unit started to jam up on down shifting probably 6 months after I got it, which was around 7 years ago. Ultima sent me a replacement quickly and that 6 speeder has been running with no issues since.
They have to learn things as all aftermarket companies do. What counts is how they recover from design / errors with their products.
For what I spent on a 127 from them which was more than reasonable, and they through in a six speed as a package, I don't regret one thing and I'd by again if I needed to.
BTW, a little exhaust port clean up on their heads just opens up that motor incredably.
A well jetted 45 Mik is the perfect match for that motor.
