Jumping into 1st from neutral
This weekend my 99 dyna with the twin cam 88 motor jumped into 1st gear from neutral at a stop light twice? I recental did maint. on it including adjusting the clutch pack. The only step I may have missed was to cycle the clutch three times. Does this sound like a clutch pack problem or something else? (Shift pawl, Etc) Thanks for the help in advance.

Did you ever get this resolved?? I just heard of another one this morning, a '99 Road King that has jumped from neutral into 1st all on it's own while at a stop light. Apparently it has done this 3x now. Bike running, both feet on the ground, and thankfully hand holding the brake or it could have been a disaster!
What wound up being your problem? Clutch isn't an issue as once in neutral and light on, something that to physically change for the shifter drum to move!
