Limp Clutch Lever

Limp Clutch Lever
Hello,
I tore down a '93 Electra Glide to the case and tranny. Bored the cylinders .10 over and installed Wisco pistons with Cometic gaskets. Also, as a side note, I put in an Andrews E27 cam. This potentially long story all started as an inner primary case leak at the motor and took on a life of its own.
As soon as I finished tear down, I noticed my clutch handle was completely limp, but thought I would worry about it at assembly. Except for breaking the clutch hub (fixed) all went well till it came time to button up the outer primary cover. I wanted to make sure I've got clutch before, BUT I do not.
I adjusted the cable 1 full inch; all of the way till adjuster separates and played with clutch assembly adjustment screw that goes through the clutch release plate. That, I turn in to stop and back out 1/2 turn. Did this several times and I have a very small amount of resistance at near full lever pull. It usually just clicks and pulls free but when it does not, I can observe no clutch plate compression. I drained the tranny and pulled side cover to see cable is attached to ramp but does not seem to turn freely or maybe a better word is smoothly.
Somebody suggested I stretched the cable; But 1+ inch? It needed no adjustment when I started this project.
I am NOT a mechanic, so feel free to treat me like a green bean. But stop before suggesting Clutch Viagra.
Any help please?

You "flipped" the ball bearing ramp under the clutch actuation cover on the right hand side. ( Never let anyone pull on the clutch lever while the pressure is off on the left hand side.)
Pull the cover on the right, hold the 3 ball ramp and take out all the slack on the cable from down there. The lever in the ramp should be pointing straight down, ( 6 O'Clock or so.) Re-assemble and then go to the left side for you clutch adjustment.

Pretty simple.
Thank you.
