Good to know; I was not aware. Too bad, it's a great piece of hardware.

The napa bearing is the same but has to be honed to fit the mainshaft. Just a heads up.

I just use a fine emery paper on the shaft and light oil to install. Thanks for confirming that the bearing is the same. Not trying to take business away but my local Napa carries this bearing and seal.

So if I'm interpreting this correctly, get the old race off (however you decide) and then go with the NAPA/Baker bearing and race in one? HD seems to have made the decision rather easy with the screwed up way they have it engineered. A person has to buy all these fancy frigging pullers and pushers just to swap something they designed rather poorly. Probably the same guy designed this that decided the oil filter should go sideways, in a horrible location so that oil runs all over the place when changing the filter, I know, you can do it with minimal spillage but still...
I have a 2010, will this NAPA bearing and seal work for my year?

Does anybody know the part number for the correct seal? The part number referenced earlier is not "in the system" at my local NAPA store. The bearing was correct but no luck with the seal...somebody please help me out here.

sorry i didn't get back to this earleir.. i haven't torn the bike down until today. too much nice weather and didn't want to much down time. i'm off on vac in a few days and wanted to make sure of what was wrong and what parts were needed..

yep the sleeve walked out.. why in the hell harley didn't put a longer sleeve/inner race or spacer between the sleeve and clutch hub is beyond me. the engineers should have known that the sleeve would walk out.. hell a small machined groove with a snap ring on it would keep it from walking out...

its surprising dry inside the drive hub considering how the oil was leaking out..
