The original wedge block had serrations over the whole area. The newer version has the relieved area like yours shown. Think lot of A were stamped but relieved. All B are relieved.

Replaced the stock HD auto with a Hayden, definitely 100% better. Replaced the Hayden with the Baker, very stout unit and chain stays where you set it never need to worry about it being to tight or loose. Every 5000 miles or so spend a half hour and pull the outer check adjustment.
