Default Cable Length?

Does anyone know the stock clutch cable length for an '02 Road King? I'd like to order a Diamondback cable bt it seems these are sold according to length and I don't know the correct length (the cable currently installed on my bike is probably 4" too long - I want to make sure I get the correct length).

Also, when measuring cable length, does one measure the cable itself? Or the casing when fully retracted, or some such?

The stock length Clutch Cable for a 2002 FLHR is 62 11/16" w/ 2.75" travel. The HD p/n for the Diamondback is 38921-09 which retails for $109.95. Magnum makes Harley's braided cables and if you buy the equivalent through Drag it is p/n 0652-1052 and retails for $78.95. (Magnum Sterling Chromite II)
BTW they measure the cable housing to housing which does not include the travel.
