Cool anoying leak

I have 96 Dyna Wide Glide with a leak that seems to be comming from behind the primary case. I have replaced the seals, bearing ect... and it still comes back. It leaks more in the tilted position (kickstand down) and not in the upright position. It is primary fluid and mot oil. If anyone has any encounters with this issue and has found the solution and willing to share then Thanks in advance!! Looking for all help with this leak jst about to the end of my rope so to speak or at least it is LOL

Well it can be only a few things if its primary fluid. IPB, shifter shaft seal, primary to engine gasket, outer primary gasket, derby gasket and chain adjuster gasket. If all those are good it could be a crack or one of those failed. Time to break out the mirror and powerful LED flashlight!

How have you determined that it is primary lube and not transmission lube, are you running different color lubes?

Make sure the oil level in the primary is just up to the bottom of the clutch basket (with bike standing up, not on jiffy stand).

Make sure that the transmission vent line is not kinked or obstructed.

Thanks for your thoughts, no I am running the same color fluid and it would make more sense that it comes from the tranny side leaking when the bike is on the stand. I have had it parked on mirors from the time it started and have not been able to pin point it. any ideas on what it could be from the tranny aspect? Thanks agian

Soft 02 Thanks for the response, I have had it parked on the mirrors for a year now, replaced all seals and gaskets on the primary side and still the same leak. Still looking LOL
