Default Stator Replacement 07 Ultra

I'm fairly sure I have an oil leak/seep from the rubber seal where it exits the inner primary. If it's not that it could be the gasket. I know that this stator leak is fairly common and that HD has a new replacement. I think I have a pic of the new beast but not sure - if it exists, does it have (3) sealing rings? The dealer dragged a replacement out of the store room and it didn't resemble that at all - but did have a new part #.

Yes, newer stator has 3 o-ring seals now since 2011 models. Search for 2011 model year technical forum and you can view the pic in the document.

I'll do that and take it to the local parts dept - thanks.

Does the inner primary need to be removed? It looks to me that it doesn't.

You should not have to remove the inner primary.
