Clutch problems!!! have to make sure the garage door is open!!!!
I have a 97 Dyna. When i put it in gear it was pulling to go with clutch pulled in. Soooo I adjusted the clutch using methods described in the service manual and also referring to the threads on this site. It now pulls very hard and if I didn't cut the motor or hit the breaks hard it would run away. Anyone know what could be the problem??? HELP

As fxstc1999 said, it could be the clutch cable, if it is the original cable it is 16 years old.
You must be sure the cable and clutch are adjusted properly. If the clutch is adjusted correctly and the clutch is still dragging, start with the easy and cheap stuff first.
Pop the cover off the right side of the transmission (the cover that the clutch cable goes into) and inspect the parts inside, make sure the ***** are in their proper location between the ramp assemblies. Check the condition of the throwout bearing.
If everything looks good, remove the outer primary cover. You will need a special tool to compress the pressure plate in order to remove the snap ring.
Remove the plates and disks, and make sure they are in good condition and also that they are flat, check for burrs where the parts contact the hub and the outer shell.
Check the spring plate, these are known to fail.
Check the condition of the clutch outer shell and hub, look for any burrs where the disks and plates slide.
