Default Please help! Chain enclosure

Working on an 82 FLTC.....This bike had an enclosed chain drive.
I have removed the encloser due to the fact that it leaked like a sive and it was butt ugly. So got it all cleaned up and put together and what do i find? After a fem minutes of it running....oil coming out of the front sproket area.

There are two oil lines to the primary...one input and one output. No line for a chain oiler. I have the primary cover off and cannot for the life of me figure out where the oil is coming from. I do not want to try to reinstall the encloser.

Please help!

Most likely candidate is the oil seal in the trans case, behind the trans sprocket. Replacing it requires removing the primary chain, compensator and clutch, then going through the inner primary casing to get to it. It requires a few special tools and I recommend you get a factory service manual first, if you don't have one. Replace the seal in the inner primary while in there.
