Default 6-speed conversion

Have an '06' Ultra Classic with the 88 and a 5-speed. After modifying to a 95, hoping to go to a 6-speed using the existing tranny casing. From what's been said, only small modifications required. Thinking of going with a Baker gear set. Open to do's and don't's, and recommendations.

You live in Hawaii?

Stick with the five speed, it is a better transmission than anything else out there.

I'm going with the SE 6 speed, I would have prefered the Baker but I got a great deal on the SE, I have not heard much good about the Ultma and It is a major upgrade, I don't cut corners when it comes to my bike, I wait until I can afford to do it right. I think it may not be a worth while upgrade for Hawaii I don't think Maui is big enough to take advantage of the overdrive?

I would be more than happy to sell you a six speed I just don't know how much you would use it unless you are planning on riding the bike some where other than the island you are living on.

I shortened the gearing on my TC88, by replacing the 25T compensator with a 21T. That woke it up. On a confined island that would be a more suitable improvement! Harley used to sell a compensator/chain kit, which I suspect Baker can as well.
