Unhappy left handed thread

This is the first post I've ever done anywhere so my apologies in advance.
I began removing the primary rive components on my 2010 Dyna FXD per the Service manual. On page 5-5 it states the mainshaft nut has left handed threads. Figure 5-7 on the next page shows removing the nut with an arrow indicating clockwise to remove. Now that I have stripped the threads on the nut, close examination shows the threads are definitely standard right hand!
The clutch assembly doesn't seem to slide on the shaft for removal so I fear a thread from the nut may be bound up in there.

Now I'm wondering, what might be the thread direction for the compensating sprocket bolt?

Has anyone else run into this? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

A left handed thread refers to the way you'd torque to tighten - in other words you'd turn it counterclockwise to tighten.
A right handed thread would be torqued clockwise.
The comp bolt is right handed so it is conventional - turn right to tighten and left to loosen.

So what you are saying is that you have the one and only Harley main shaft with right hand threads?...I don`t think so.

To loosen the clutch hub retaining nut, it must be turned clockwise, just like in the picture. Left Hand Thread.
