How to remove the jackshaft on a FLHR

Default How to remove the jackshaft on a FLHR

I have a 1998 FLHR, I'm replaceing the starter and jackshaft, no problem getting the starter off, but not sure how to remove the jackshaft? does the clutch assymbly have to come off or can it come off the right side?
Thanks for any info much appreciate any help!!

It comes out on the left side.
