Default 02 transmission noise normal.

So this is my first Harley. I know that some noises are normal so I thought I'd ask here first. When I'm cruising down the road with the bike in gear (any gear) and let off the throttle (clutch still engaged) I have some unrythemic clattering that sounds like it is comming from the right side of the bike. If I get back into the throttle any amount the noise stops. If I pull the clutch in the noise stops. It's not excessively loud but noticeable to me. The bike is an 02 soft tail. 88ci stock motor except for pipes. 11.5 k miles. Normal? Not normal?

Any issues shifting? Noises are hard to to explain and even harder for people understand over the internet. It does not sound normal from your description but if you are not having any other problems it will be hard to diagnose.
