Need some help on a clutch adustment. Was following directions form the manual and was at a point after adjusting the adjuster screw and tightening the locknut bolt.


I squeesed the clutch level per the manual three times and now am turning the adjuster cable to squeese the play out. The problem is I cannot get the play out. If fact the adjuster is coming off the thread as move it away from the adjuster nut.

Can anyone help me. I tried several times to to reset and try again, but nothing seems to work.
