03 Ultra classic - Engine warm or cold downshifting from any gear hear crisp sporadic chirping sound. Occasionally when upshifting between gears engaging the clutch. Any ideas what to check out?

 

My guess would be a belt tension adjustment or a rear axle alignment problem.

 

Check the heim joints on the shift linkage make sure they are not binding and give them a shot of lube.

 

Exhaust leak.

 

Belt tension. My chirps when belt need adjusted.
