Default Softail Evo Tranny Knock

I own a 93 Softail Evo that I had a clutch installed about 300 miles ago and I have recently developed a knock in fourth gear. I took the top off of the transmission and I can't visibly see anything wrong with it, everything seems to shift fine and everything appears to be in order. I am wondering if maybe I need to adjust the clutch now and would the clutch only effect 4th gear? The knock has a similair sound to what a rod knock in the engine would sound like. If you can help it would be greatly appreciated.

You could have a loose compensator nut.

Gear teeth do not normally knock unless you are missing a tooth. Stock 5 speeds are inherently noisy in 4th but it is usually a whine.
