How can you tell when your compensator is starting to go bad ..? Thanks

Noise from the primary would be a good start. Pull it apart and have a looksie.

Mine sounded like I had loose ball bearings in the primary. That was the first hint I got.

Once its apart what are you looking for? Assuming there aren't obvious cracked/broken parts.

Loose, excessive play or kind of a wobble. Listen for noise as you spin it as well.Pull your plugs before you try to rotate the primary chain.
