Transmission Info
First off I like to mention I know very little about HD and really only interested in there transmission setup. I have a project I am brainstorming/putting together and am looking for some information.
So my plan is too put a 600cc two stroke snowmobile motor into a motorcycle. Its going to be a 70s/80s Japanese cafe racer styled bike. So if you don't know, snowmobiles dont use a standerd shifting transmission. They use a CVT setup, wich imo would be really stupid for a motorcycle and no fun.
That were it comes into play of me needing a pre-unit construction transmission. Harley seems to be the way to go because there everywhere and the older triumphs dont have the clutches with the Transmission.
What Im looking for: cheap, dry clutch on tranny side, hold 100hp+, preferably with kick start.

How much is a new one?! That seems a reasonable price. If you don't want to pay that much you could find yourself looking for a long time, unless you get lucky.
