Default Clutch cable adjustment on an '10 FLHX

My clutch lever seems hard to engage especially since it sits so far out from the grip. I adjusted it to required specs. 1/8", 1/16" but still seems like it requires a lot of force to squeeze the lever. I took apart the fairing to see if there was a kink in the line but there wasn't. I have Red Line Heavy Duty (weird pink stuff) in the transmission and Boss blades for the levers themselves. Can anyone give me any advice? Too bad no one makes an adjustable clutch lever for the FLHX. It would easier to engage the clutch if I didn't have to use my fingertips!!
Thanks
