Can anybody tell me what size socket is needed to remove the compensating sprocket nut or bolt, I have an inner primary case seal leak and want to make sure I have the rite size socket before tearing it down

Thanks

1 1/2 inch socket for compensating sprocket, and a 1 3/16 inch socket for clutch mainshaft nut.

I have a 98 Heritage softail and I am going to be changing out my shift lever soon so I'll be needing to remove the inner primary. Do you suppose my compensator nut and clutch mainshaft nut are the same sizes as well ? Thanks.

Use a 1-1/2" socket (6 point) for the compensator.

1-3/16" socket for clutch hub nut, remember, the clutch hub nut is left hand thread.
