Clutch issue?

Clutch issue?
(Sometimes) not every time when I stop and have the clutch pulled all the way in I hear a gear tapping or clicking sound. Kind of sounds like its trying to change gears but its already in gear. The sound stops when I let the clutch out just a little (enough to let it just start pulling). I just had the primary adjusted today and its still doing this (sometimes). Any ideas on what it might be?

If you don't have a manual get one! not everything is covered in there 100% but what isn't can usually be found on youtube. You watch the video refer to the manual, you will feel better knowing it was done by you + it builds confidence for the next time you need to do a small repair and you go from there leading to great pride and satisfaction !

I assume you are completely in gear, say still rolling to a stop and know you are completely in gear. And then you pull up to a complete stop pulling in the clutch all the way. Is this what you are doing? If it happens to do noise and you let clutch out to pull away, do you hear it click into gear? If so and say you go 10-15 feet letting the clutch completely out and then stop again pulling in the clutch, does it still do it? If this is so, you just may need to lengthen or shorten the shift rod or re-index the shifter to better put the shift in a position so you hit it better downshifting. If that is not your condition, the bearing in your clutch drum could be bad since it only spins when you pull in the clutch. It also could be throw out bearing. Could be either especially as old as your bike is.
