Default Compensator spring pack questions

Hey guys
Need your input
I have a 03 road king with a hillside 98" build, bike tuned by Stroker Jlk
I have been getting a noise from a dead take off in first gear, kind of a clanky rattle
It only happens when taking off from a dead stop and if I work the clutch and gas just right it won't do it
Also if the bike is cold it don't do it
I put a new clutch in hoping to take. Care of it but it did not

Could the spring Pak on the comp be doing this, was there problems with the springs on these

I don't want to give mother harley $160.00 on a guess

Thanks guys

If your handy I would suggest open up your primary and take the comp sprocket apart, clean it and check the compensator cam for drag marks. They have been known to come loose now and then. then torque it down put it all back and it may just be solved.
PS the book says over and over to change your 30$ steel primary gasket, I've had mine off and back on three times without a drip.
