Leaking Primary Fluid

If you're still running the original inner primary bearing & seal, most likely cause of leak is either failed IPB seal, or walking/moving race on main shaft on which IPB bearing rides. When that bearing race moves inboard into the primary, it opens a gap between the main shaft boss and the seal allowing primary fluid leak. If it moves enough, you can lose most of your entire primary lube in a few miles. That's what happened to me.
Tearing down the primary to get at the seal & IPB is a pretty big job for most home mechanics. Outer primary cover has to come off, as does compensator, primary chain, clutch pak, and inner primary case. Lots of seals that should be replaced when it's opened. Not a job to be tackled without a HD service manual for your bike.

You sure its the seal? Mine was leaking, looked like a seal issue until I got under the bike and discovered it coming from the inside- side of the primary and after a little research I checked the primary oil and found it to be WAY over filled and was running out the backside. The previouse owner I bought it from had all fluids over filled, I must have taken a half quart out before it got to the correct level. Mine is a Softail though...

Are you sure it's primary fluid and not trans fluid? If the IPB walks in, it will usually damage the mainshaft/5th gear seal allowing trans fluid to escape. After a ride, does the leak top after a few drops?
I suspect you will have to remove the inner primary to make the repair. If you do, replace every seal behind the inner primary, IPB race/seal/bearing. The S&S tapered race is good replacement and Fastenal sells a double lipped IPB seal (PN4190957).
