Default Help...2000 road king/installing chrome cover behind engine

My first time on here...and boy do I need help. So my very last piece of chrome, while chrome my engine, is what some aftermarket company's call the "Rear cylinder cover" but I found a discontinued Harley part they call "Engine Trans Top Cover" part#66505-00.

I need to get the square nut that has a nipple on it off the transmission cover, so I can replace the trans gasket I tore and slide my rear engine cover on and then reinstall the trans cover! There's just not enough room loosening the two bolts on trans cover to slide the rear cover under. I've got all the nuts out of trans pan except the nipple! Please help guys. I shouldn't be doing this, but I can take instructions! God didn't give me the ability, but I'm trying!
