Default when do you need to change the clutch? Or is it even that?

I have an 08 Street Glide with over 107000 kms (that's 60k miles for my southern neighbours)

When would I need to change the clutch, I've been adjusting regularly.

Not sure if its slipping or if its another issue.

I recently installed an Xid, its working great so it seems, however when I go to pass, (pull on the throttle) the motor revs up quickly (so the TBW appears to be responding properly), but it takes a few seconds for the power to transfer to the wheels.

I've only noticed this in 6th, and havent tried in other gears yet.

comments anyone?

Tks

sounds like the clutch is slipping to me.....I was running ATF in mine for the last couple of years, but when I upgraded the cams, I noticed that mine would slip when going WOT during passing. changed primary fluid to 20w50 just like the engine and it's gone away.. harder to find neutral but would rather the clutch not slip...Mine's got 58000 on it. got it with 36000 so I don't know if it's ever been changed. I doubt it.....

When you give it gas keep the throttle at a set point so you can hear the motor at a constant rpm, if you still accelerate your clutch is slipping.
Also when you blip the throttle you can hear the rpm go up but not feel any acceleration, bad clutch.
You checked the adjustment?
I have 150 k on mine and it is still good, but what is that saying, mileage will vary,

When you up the horsepower on these engines you should put a stiffer clutch spring in, it stopped mine from slipping.
