Hello how is everybody? I need a lil help i confused the 2 bolt sizes on my outer primary case cover there are 12 bolts long and short dont know where they go ;( please help bike is a 89 heritage softail thank you in advance is there a diagram ?

 

There are 2 bolt sizes, 1-1/4 inch long, and 2 inch long, and if you look at the cover, you can plainly see where the short bolts go, the case is thinner at the short bolt locations.
