Default New primary chain adjuster

I have a 13 softail slim. I am going to get the ratchet adjuster out of the primary an wanted to know what folks thought. Looking at the baker manual adjust or the hayden m6 spring loaded adjuster? I have for years rode an old block head with manual adjuster with no problems. Dont want to find out later on that my primary chain was too tight an took out bearings.

I have an M6 in my Evo (with an S&S 107") which is an improvement over the stock manual adjuster. Gives smoother running and better gear changes.

Me too, and a lot of successful, trouble free miles with it.

i rode my bike about 200 miles with the new baker installed and i was impressed by how it porformed. smoother shifting and a much quieter primary. one big plus was it got rid of at least 50% of all the compensator banging noises. so far i really like it. it only made the clunk going into gear the first time when it was cold.
