Hi guys !
I have a 3 month old Fat Bob which has now covered just under 2000 miles .
Since I've had the bike , there has always been a little metallic 'click' from the chaincase area when the drive is taken up , usually in first gear , for example when moving in very slow traffic each time the clutch is let back out. Is this normal considering the primary chain has an automatic tensioner ?
Also , in first or second gear , also usually in slow traffic , I'm sure I can actually hear the primary chain 'rustling'. The bike has had it's first service and the local Harley tech said wait until it has a few more miles on it and it should re tension itself.
Wondered what you guys think ?

Ah, may want to have your dealer check it out. I think the newer bikes have a "auto tensioner" on the primary chain so it shouldn't need adjusting.
