Noise in the primary
I have a 2013 ultra classic it has 2500 miles on it after the 1000 mile service it started having a laud clunk it sounds like its in the primary I road it around 70 miles to the next town when I was leaving the parking lot it sounded like everything came apart when I pulled in the clutch it ran fine on the way home i took the derby cover off to check the oil it was good nothing else looked bad as far as I could tell any ideas on what it can be

You are one of hundreds maybe thousands, there have been many primary issues since the design change in 06 with the Dyna's and 07 every other big twin. Compensater sprockets are failing, the automatic primary chain tensioners are over tightening the chain and causing bearing failures. Use the search feature and read what many others have all ready been through.
