Default 2011 dyna primary fluid change

I drained my primary and removed the cover with the 5 torx screws - in between the cover and motor was a flimsy plastic circle ( like a cd ) with a flat/thin rubber gasket.

My bike is a 2011 and according to manual I should be using a rubber ring gasket with "nubs" on it. That's what I got from dealer- so I'm confused here - hoping for some clarification.

Thanks!

Sounds like either gasket will work just don't over tighten. It's around 10-12 inch pounds.

I figured it out- my primary cover was after market and uses the plastic disc style gasket- not the rubber ring that inserts in the grove of stock cover. And the screws are torqued closer to 100 pounds- fyi
