Default Final drive belt alignment problem

Ok pros I need a little assistance. I have an ultima belt drive I'm putting on. I got the engine and tranny mounted down. I used the inner primary plate to get the tranny and engine to line up, torqued them down. Put on swingarm and rear tire. Now I'm trying to align my belt on the tranny pulley and the rear pulley. The belt wants to run to the outer lip of the tranny pulley when rolled forward and to the inner side of pulley when rolled backwards. I already got my rear tire straight. I measured from middle of pivot bolt to middle of axle and got the same measurement. I even used the string method to make sure that the rear pulley and tranny pull are true and they wer. Has anybody got any ideas on what I'm doin wrong....??? Anybody point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks everyone

Setup procedure should be as follows: Engine is bolted downto the frame first, then the primary to the engine, then the trans to the primary, then the trans to the frame. See what that does.

@mark... U obviously know what Ur talking about so let me ask u this .... When I set me engine in the frame and drop in the bolts thers a little play in terms if the engine going side to side and such. How do I make sure the engine is square in the frame..??? I for the life if me can't figure out what's not right. I've done all the tricks I know. I'm reaching out to someone who's knows more than me. I'm getting frustrated. Thanks

You have to find the center line, unfortunately there is no magic wand for this, but there is the back bone of your frame. First your wheels should be centered with the backbone, then the motor needs to be also centered using the back bone and centered wheels as guides. The motor is not exactly a square box but it is evenly proportioned. Take your time and take a lot of measurements. The idea is that when you get the motor centered the bike will "almost" stand on it's own. Nothing is perfect but you can get it pretty d#mn close.
