First time primary clutch fluid replacement

First time primary clutch fluid replacement
Tried my hand at replacing the clutch fluid on my 2009 XL893c. When I bought it last week it had 1100 miles on it. The last owner had changed the engine oil but not the primary/clutch oil. All went well. I had to have something to lift the bike, so as usual, went to YouTube and made a cheap and easy lift that actually worked easy.
My biggest challenge/worry was to get the primary clutch cover off without stripping any of the six screws. I had to get a couple Torx sockets, T27 & T25 (one of the screws were different and thats where the 27 came in). It went well, but the chaper Torx I bought for the five of the screws was less then perfect by the time I was done. So get a good quality one like Craftsman or your favorite brand that has a lifetime warranty.
Did I say I love the cheap lift?
