Default Transmission Bearing Noise

I have a 6 speed transmission in a 09 road glide....
I'm noticing a slight noise in the transmission,,,,,The clutch cable is adjustment and
clutch lever seems to have more slack when cruising,,,,,then while slowing down and letting off the gas,,,,the cable slack is all gone.....As in the side bearings on the main shaft are moving causing the clutch basket to walk left and right.....the cable seems to be gaining and losing about 1/8" to maybe 3/16".....I'm guessing trap door bearings gone bad,,,,changed fluid,,,,quite a bit more than normal metal on the drain plug.....Any suggestion on how to repair are welcomed......
thank You

The bearings are not bad it is a poor design. With a helical cut gear set the is whats called axial thrust where the main shaft and counter shaft push away from each other. The bearings are being held in by snap rings which are not able to hold the bearings in place so they walk in and out. Here is the fix:

Yup. Trap door slop. Either Baker or Jims trap door for the fix!
