Default dissasembling 6 speed

Hello all I have my motor torn apart right now and thought now would be as good as time as ever to take it from a blonde engine and trans to a gloss black one well after having it painted twice and having the paint peel off due to a very light fork oil (silicone) Residue I am thinking of just having them powder coated and being done with it. My question is this after you remove the trap door containing the gearshafts do they press out or come out with the snap rings and nylocks? Also in general having built auto engines and a couple of twin cams i'm wondering how difficult it is to strip one and reassemble it from someone who has taken the leap and done it. Thank you for all of your time

If you are going that deep into the powertrain of your bike, you must have a service manual.

Thats a lot of work just for powdercoat. I certainly wouldnt go through the hassle for PC but here are a few pics to give you an idea of whats involved.

I have a service manual but was just curious if it would explode into 1000 pieces when disassembled with tons of specialty tools needed to put it back together. thank you guys
