Default Tranny pan thread

Hey fellas, I was changing the tranny fluid on my 97 rk. As I screwed the bolt back in, the bolt wasn't grabbing. I pulled the bolt out and the pan thread was on the damn bolt. Is there a way to fix this without having to get a new pan?? Thanks!!!

Yes, but it will require removing the pan. There are various types of thread repairs available, which a local indy should be able to do for you.
