Tranny is Shot (I think)
Well, looks like I lost the tranny on my heritage today going down the road in 4th & shifting to 5. The shift levers just move freely like they are not connected to anything in the transmission, and I can't shift gears or anything. Had to trailer it to a shop. I guess it was only a matter of time as I put a fairly cheap Ultima overdrive 6 on a really strong motor, but I got it for $900 installed 6 years ago and figured it was too good of a deal to pass up. Hopefully it didn't damage anything else in the motor.
So if I'm faced with replacing it, I don't think I can drop $3.5k or whatever a Baker costs....so anyone have any reviews on a Rivera Primo Powerdrive 6 or any other recommendations?

But I'm glad you mentioned a stock tranny.. I may have mine tucked away somewhere in the garage. That may be a good fallback plan if it turns out bad.

Lego's hold together pretty good until you hit them with a Tonka truck.Good luck and if it turns out to be a stripped shift lever give this one a try:
