bike was good for 10 years,,then pulling hair,,,on the third starter clutch and second Ring gear,replaced inner and outer primary bushings, went to start it to check timing, the starter clutch made this noise that made me cringe, tore apart to check damage ,the pinon gear was destoryed,and it was brand new. does any one have any ideas,,,stock motor mild cam,stock ign.

 

At least give us a clue as to what model and year bike...

 

Take a deep breath and tell us more of what the situation is. Things like when the bike last started and ran properly, any work you've done around the time it stopped working, etc. You're in the doctor's surgery, so we need you to give us some help to diagnose things!
