Default 6 speed chatter?

I have a 2014 fxdb street bob. I have noticed that there is a light chatter while maintaining speed at around 35-50mph. This only while in the area right between accel and decel, just to maintain speed. This occurs in 2nd - 6th gear with rpms around 1800 - 2400 roughly. 200 miles on the bike. Cause for concern?
The noise is not very loud but can easily hear it as the bob still has factory pipes. I doubt I would be able to hear it if my short shots were installed. There are no problems or strange noises while under power, coasting w/ clutch disengaged, during deceleration or sitting still in neutral. Is the engine pinging? Is there slack in the gear mesh somewhere? I WAS riding a 2010 Honda Fury, shaft driven, and there was smooth transition between accel and decel (that fine line). Am I crazy?

Not lugging it. Thanks

Try and see if the chatter is coming from the primary.

5th and 6th gear you should not be in under 50mph! 6th should not be used under 60mph!

Your hearing the compensator load and unload the torque pulse of the engine. It will make some noise chattering sound. Especially the new Comp HD just started using late last year.

200 miles! Ride it thru break in period. Put a couple thousand miles on it. Go from there.

I have 59,000 kilometers in my 06 Street Bob and I just started to hear chatter or ticking when riding any where between 2 to 5th gear.

Sounds like it's in the Primary or Tranny...can't tell for sure. Had a service done on it and the Indy say's all is well. I can only hear it when I have ear plugs in as they remove the engine and wind noise when riding.
