Default Clutch replacement help?

(2012 Street Glide) I'm waiting on my 4+ clutch cable to arrive (current cable just snapped at the ring on the end!). I've got the cable removed from the fairing, and when the cable arrives I'll be removing the trans cover, etc, etc. Here's my question. I only removed the upper heat shield from the rear pipe for clearance. I can get to the 2 bottom trans cover bolts but, will I have enough clearance to remove the bolts? I know that some of the bolts are longer than others. Will the exhaust get in the way? Don't want to remove them if I don't have to. I've attached pic to help.
Thanks for the help,
Jeff

I guess that depends on how much screwing around you want to do. You might save just as much time by pulling the pipe off then trying to work around it.

For what it's worth, I replaced the clutch cable on my 2009 Ultra on Sunday. I was able to do it without removing heat shields or exhaust. Just make sure the bolts are all the way undone but leave them in the cover plate and you should be fine.
