Does anyone know if Sugarbear choppers is still in business? I have been waiting for a completion date on the 30 over rolling chassis I paid over $10000.00 almost 2 years ago and have not been able to contact the shop since Sept. 2014.

 

The more talented a builder/painter is, the longer the wait time; no matter what deadline they set for themselves. That said, 10K would put me right on that bear's doorstep if I thought something funny was afoot. Without an appointment.

 

I have been thinking about showing up unannounced. It would be rather costly for me to do coming from northern Alberta though.

 

Will it cost less than 10 grand?

 

Yes but there is no sense in spending money on flights, hotel rooms, and losing time from work if he has closed up shop, and ripped me off.

 

Is there anyone in the Gardena area that could drop by Bear's shop and let me know if it is still in business?
