I am disappointed with Harley Davidson and Gerbings Heated clothing. Three years ago I paid around $175 for a pair of Harley heated gloves. Gerbings and Harley stated then that the micro-wiring in the gloves which conducts the heat was warranteed for life by Gerbings.

This was a lot more money than First Gear or any other manufacturer wanted for heated gloves but I thought I would be covered for a long time by two reputable companies.

Only two fingers on each hand are now working so I wanted to send them back to be replaced or repaired. Both Harley and Gerbings told be today that they are no longer responsible for faulty operation. I cannot afford to buy replacements.

So tough luck! Do not spend the extra money for Harley heated gloves. No one will take of you when you have problems even though you paid a premium price.

 

I have had a pair of Harley/Gerbing heated gloves and liner since 2006 and they have worked flawlessly. Lately I have been researching a heated vest and have been looking at Gerbing. There have been too many negative posts and ratings for me to spend hard earned money on their products. They are not owned by the same people anymore and apparently haven't been for a few years now.

 

uh oh..... I have both the gloves and jacket. The jacket works great the gloves not as well, I hope they hold up

 

I bought 1st. gear gloves & vest (jacket)with dual heat Troller about 7 yrs. ago, 1 of the best investment I ever made. gloves, I just wear them when I need the heat simple because like Danny stated only 2 fingers worked on each glove so, less wear work longer I'm thinking.
I've never had a problem. just need the Pants now.
