Nice product. Too pricey. You can buy a real nice cover for half of that. Spend the money on a trip.

I like the looks of it. I have a cover and it is sufficient, but I would rather have this. I like the way it totally encloses the bike.

My next door neighbor has the Cycle Shell for his Ultra.

I bought the Bike Barn for my RKC. TheBikeBarn It's the same principal, but slightly different. The Cycle Shell is very portable, and seals at the bottom better than the Bike Barn. However, the bike barn is very durable and has more room inside. While away for two weeks, we had a very wet snow. It was weighted down hard, but didn't present a problem. It's repelled a few hail storms here in TN recently too, without any problems.

It cost slightly less than cycle shell. I think either of the two are great products. Check it out at www.thebikebarn.net

Covers are great, but with the Bike Barn you can drive in and close it shut no matter how hot the bike is...nothing touches.

I just put up my "CycleShelter" which is identicle to the larger Cycleshell shown on their website. To tell you the truth, I think it is a POS. I guess it will have to do until I can construct a more substantial shelter for my bike. But I am going to have to do a number of things to make it last. For instance, the floor (which is nothing more that a cheap weave tarp you would find in any Home Depot) is beginning to tear when subject to the stress of stretching the fabric when fully closed. The back of the Shelter also lifts up when fully closed. I'll keep tweaking and re-adjsuting over time, but I don't think the fit to the frame is all that accurate. This "product" came with a return within 10 days policy. Since I bought this 5 weeks ago, I'm SOL. Oh well, buyer beware. Like I said, it will have to do, but I would NOT reccomend this product. You can see it on cycleshelter.com. I believe it is the very same company.

Hi Ned69, I wish I had known about the BikeBarn before I bought my CycleShelter. It looks a hell of alot more durable. A far superior design too. The CycleShelter cost me about $320 with optional lock and shipping. I don't know a thing about the CycleShell other than it looks very similar to the Shelter. But $400 does seem a bit steep. Springer 06, if I were you I would seriously consider the BikeBarn. How I wish I had a garage!

You are missing the point. This is not a simple cover. It doesn't touch the bike. If you keep your bike outside and you come back and it's raining, what do you to with a cover - put it over your dirty and wet bike? You'll damage the paint. Not with this. I have one and it is absolutely the only solution in many circumstances.
