Default Stoney Straps... WTF??? BAD BUSINESS!

So I ordered a pair because the riding pants I just got tend to ride up my leg while riding...

Anyway, I ordered them via their website a week and a half ago and my $22 was processed immediately (within 24 hours). However, since I never recieved anything in the mail wihtin 7 or 8 days, I've been calling for the last three (no answer and no return calls to my messages) and no response to my email inquiry.

Now I need to go to my bank and dispute the charge to get my money back.

Anyone have any insight??? Are they just ripping people off, out of business, or something else?

Thanks,

Carl

One week sounds a little impatient.

Yeah, but several days of voicemail during business hours and no returned phone calls? I expect at least that...

Well, it has now been more than a few weeks. I have called numerous times, left numerous messages, and have sent emails. I have not received one call back or email, nor have I received what I ordered. I went to the bank today to see if I can get my money back (they drew the $ on the 3rd) and I had to file a claim on my Mastercard.

Unless there is something out of the ordinary going on with the vender, BEWARE!!!!!

Sorry to hear you may have got taken, but I bought the Faarken(??) version and have been happy with them. I did make one change to them though. They come with one of those adjuster things that you move back and forth to tighten the straps and it always seemed to end up on the bottom side of my boots so I took the adjuster off and had my wife sew the strap at the point where it worked for me. FWIW, I've seen a version that clips to the top of your boot and the front of your pantleg....

Thanks for the input... I've seen their ads and will check out their website.

The whole reason I found myself in this dilemna is because I bought a pair of jeans from Cyclegear w/the kevlar panels and knee armor, and the jeans ride just a smidgen higher than my other jeans while riding- they must be about 1/2 shorter or something in length. However, its enough to have landed me here, looking for something just to keep them a bit lower on my leg while riding.

Thanks for letting me rant.

Well, I found a pair of pant stays/stirrups at the local western store for $4. Problem solved!

Default I've been ripped off too!

Ordered Stoney Straps middle of August, 2014.
Still not here.
Tried phoning and email. No response.
$25 deducted from my visa card.

DO NOT BUY FROM STONEY STRAPS. Strange that they are still listed on Amazon.
