Best goggles/sunglasses for contact lens wearers?? Anyone havesuggestions?

My eyesight has been holding me back from long rides for years. I finally switched to soft lenses (from the painful rigid gas permeable ones), but even the soft lenses dry out quickly!

Any alternatives other than Lasik surgery?

 

Lasik or full face...

 

Back in the day (hard lenses), the full face didn't help one bit... but I'll give it another try. Otherwise, Lasik. Thx!

 

So I guess the same would hold true for glasses wearers huh? Used to have soft contacts that gave me little problems as long as I had some fairly tight fitting goggles. Now I can't get my eyes to fit contacts anymore because of my astigmatism getting worse. The suckers won't sit still without turning no matter what brand I've tried out. I now just wear my prescription glasses with magnetic clip-on shades and just squint and blink like hell.

 

I have bad astigmatism too - m/b part of the problem. Prescription goggles m/b the way to go - except I hate glasses. I'm seriously considering Lasik b4 it's too late to experience...

 

Yeah, I'm thinking of having it done soon myself. I just wanted to wait a while when the technology first came out and let them perfect it and let the prices drop before biting.

 

I'm farsighted so a goggle w/ Rx lenses is out (too much curvature). But WileyX makes some very good goggles that you might consider. At least, they are the best ones I've seen (no pun).

 

Thanks for tip... once I decide on a style, I'll think I'll give them a try.

 

good goggles "bobsters" and lots of eye juice. its the wind and drying that gets me all stoned looking.[:@]
