I will tell anybody that has never rode the twisted in the smokies.... Don't over ride your skills... It will bite you hard in the *** if you do.... First time you go in the other lane because you lose control you will almost rip a piece of your seat with your sphincter....Ask me how I know....?..

Check out the Skyway. I love riding out there. I'm lucky enough to be able to go there and back in the same day/weekend. I'll admit though, it's too easy to push the max limits of the bike. I'm always half turn and something starts throwing sparks and you cant push it any lower. I honestly believe those roads are safer on a sport bike.

Can't wait for it to warm up and go back. Does anyone ride the parkway? That's one road I haven't really been on much.

we usually stay a little farther away and take a cab. even if you stay neer opryland hotel the cab fair isn't very high and you can get rooms for less than $100. some of the hotels even offer shuttle service to Broadway. plus may be a little safer.

I was going to suggest this - makes sense and a lot less coin.
