Stayed with Contentment in 2012 at Glencoe, had a great time. We didn't use their cots, used an air mattress instead. I would recommend if you don't mind the noise.

I got my Glencoe Campground wrist band yesterday. I am pretty excited for my first Sturgis.

it depends on what you want to do? you like to party? ride? concerts? I stay at the chip. I can party it up at the concerts then crash. sometimes its fun in town or at the other spots. but this is what I found on main street you hit all the pubs and or the ones in deadwood or just out of town.( full throttle, broken spoke) now you ride with cops everywhere, and even with 1 beer at each place you've had call it a dozen beer. and your riding. no taxis. some shuttle buses with lots of really drunk fools, if you stay at the party places like the chip, my be a little hard to sleep, but always a good time. rides? needles is a nice ride. I even like the canyon from spearfish. deadwood is really nice too. Sturgis has the nicest people I've ever met. you would think all the bikers there wood be fights and crap going on. not at all, everyone is there for a good time, that why we are going back.

Me and my dad will be riding up from Kansas. We'll have to buy you a beer for hooking up that stereo.
